two children standing in front of a house

2 Thomas Jane St., London On, 1977

I reside in London, where I grew up.

I explore ideas of our lived experiences in the modern world.

I envision an idea or see something that

gives me pause for reflection.

How to make that physical?

What medium best communicates?

I strive for high craftsmanship in my work.

I attended BealArt where I was inspired to pursue sculptural work and continue my journey at a Sheridan a college School of Crafts and Design where I took Furniture design and then Hot Glass.

I graduated with honours and won Best of Graduating Class. My work was purchased for the permanent collection.

Between family and work, I had pursued various shows of my own and juried exhibitions to stay current.

I took a break from art and I’m now actively pursuing this as my endeavour. I am currently working on ideas stemming from my last exhibit Living with Abundance, while pursuing commissioned work to sustain an income.

My dream is to have my work hanging in the National Gallery in Ottawa.

Currently I’m working at my Studio181, in London Ontario.

Thank you to my teachers at BealArt and Sheridan College, who, over my life who have given me opportunity, wisdom and inspiration.
